About the Programme that We Offer i.e. BEd.
We are affiliated to Kannur University, one of the reputed Universities in Kerala. we offer the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme of Kannur University. It is a professional programme that prepare teachers for upper primary or middle level, secondary level and senior secondary level. Teacher education institutions under Kannur universities are directed by the University to make arrangements for effective curriculum transaction through many innovative teaching-learning strategies like problem solving, group discussion, panel discussion, seminar reading, brain storming, practical and project work, discovery method, competency based teaching, contextual transaction of the contents, demonstration-cum-discussion, participatory/activity based group work, case studies, practical exercises, innovations, individual/ group assignment, face to face contact, tutorial / library work, research approach etc. Hence Keyi Sahib Training College has always been and will be committed enough to follow the instructions and guidelines put forth by Kannur University. We have got our own institutional planning and strategies for realizing all the aims and objectives of the BEd. programme designed by Kannur University without violating the norms and regulations produced by the University. We have got thorough idea on how to implement the proposed curriculum, as all our teachers were a part of curriculum framing. However, we prepared some a variety of Course Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Learning Outcomes (CLOs) by including the PLOs and CLOs of Kannur University BEd. Curriculum, modifying some of them and adding our own without violating the norms and regulations of kannur University.
